Sky Drama | Within the territories of the Cowlitz and Klickitats First Peoples

The storm approached from the southwest as we explored the southern flanks of Mount St Helens. Within moments, sheets of rain lashed down, drenching everything in sight and turning the dry earth into a muddy quagmire. Trees bent and swayed under the force of the wind, their branches whipping back and forth like frenzied dancers. Despite the chaos wrought by the storm, there was a sense of awe and majesty in the face of its might.
